Who we are

We are a Chilean- german family living and working in Santiago de Chile. We are Anika Steinberger and Nelson Calderon who met 2002 in Chile. Nelson is an examined wilderness guide (IWV e.V.) and cook,
Anika has got a diploma in geography.

We both love travelling and have seen quite a lot of the world. Besides our private tours we both have been working in the tourist industry for quite some time and so have made our hobby our profession. Nelson has been travelling his mother country Chile from north
to south and from south to north and we have both been working in organizing, leading tours and being in charge of tourist groups in San Pedro de Atacama in the north of Chile.

For some years we went back to Germany where our daughter Ainara was born. Back in Germany we have told friends and relatives enthusiastically about the country and its amazing landscape. As a natural consequence we have decided to become self-employed (set up our own small enterprise) organizing and leading tour to show people our Chilean dream. Nelson loves planning, organizing and leading all his tours in detail from the first to the last step. His love of his home country and its spectacular natural beauty is seen and felt in all of his tours and in the way he presents its landscapes and it cultural richness to his guests.
